The Thai Forest Tradition in Sri Lanka

One of the main intentions behind the development of this monastery is to help spread the way of training established by the enlightened forest masters in Thailand within Sri Lanka.

“If we practise consistently with mindfulness, whatever time of the day we go to meditate, be it in the morning or evening, the mind will move into a state of peace quite easily. This is what we call continuously developing the mind.”

Ajahn Anan
